Govt told, don't just listen, act

Do not be fooled by the Gerakan goons. As the saying goes, talk is cheap. Gerakan is just trying to play to the gallery as the general elections is just around the corner, and this is their way to fish for votes. They are all a bunch of hypocrites. I should know because I have approached the Gerakan party for assistance in the past, but to put it bluntly, the help which they rendered to me was pathetic to say the least. If the gerakan was serious about ending corruption, and truly want a royal commission to be set up by the government with regards to the Lingamgate saga, they should have pressured prime minister Badawi to comply with their demands. Gerakan members can scream and shout until the cows come home, but as long as they remain a component party of the Barisan Nasional, then I fear that nothing will be achieved. I wish to pose the following question to all Gerakan party members; should your suggestions and complaints go unheeded by your political masters, what would be your next course of action. May I suggest that if you all have principles and decency, pull out from the government immediately, to show your sincerity by joining the ranks of the opposition. That way, you will be doing justice to all Malaysian citizens and it will speak volumes about your credibility. I am proud to inform all readers that I will become a member of the Democratic Action Party over the weekend and using the party as a platform, I will promise to campaign tirelessly for a better Malaysia. Please give us your full support by voting in the Democratic Action Party in the forthcoming general elections, for change has been long overdue.
