Dear Anil,
Allow me to introduce myself. I am a blind individual in my 50s, and a singer, guitarist by profession. Just like yourself and many other right-thinking Malaysians, I am truly fed up of the Barisan government what, with their many unjust policies. Needless to say, their corrupt practices know no bounds, and their divide-and-rule policies are most despicable to say the least. For your information, I have placed numerous comments over Malaysiatoday. By the way, I have enjoyed reading some of your articles both over Malaysiatoday and Malaysiakini respectively. Do keep up with your writings, for who knows, you might just be able to wake up more Malaysians from their slumber.
Finally, Anil, I wish to inform you that I have started a blog where I talk about retro music and about my political views. On my blog, you will find newspaper articles about my profession and letters that I have written to numerous government officials for assistance, but who have chosen to ignore my pleas for help. My blog address is as follows http://alfredhosinger.blogspot.com Please feel free to visit my blog.. .Looking forward to your early reply.
Yours sincerely,
Alfred Ho

Dear Anil,
Thanks for your unexpected email. If you have visited my blog, then you will know why I have taken an interest in politics. At the same time, I have been greatly influenced by the popular Caribbean singer, Harry Belafonte who has been championing the rights of the coloured people in America, and believe you me he is very vocal in this respect even to the extent of criticizing President Bush. It may interest you to learn that I have applied to join the DAP and that my application has been accepted. As a matter of interest, the party is holding a press conference on Sunday the 14th of this month to publicize this matter. At last, I now have a platform to air my political views and I hope to do my part by campaigning for the party in the forthcoming general elections. It is rather unfortunate that most Malaysians are contented with their lives, and as such are happy to retain the status quo. All I can say is that these people are not far sighted enough and when they wake up from their slumber, it might just be too late. Keep up with the struggle Anil, for I strongly feel that we need a new government that treats all citizens equally as we are all bumiputras of this country, contrary to what umno tells you.
Yours sincerely,
Alfred Ho.

Dear Anil,
Just visited your blog and noticed that you have directed your readers to my sight. I even read a comment by 1 of your readers. Thanks for recognizing me as a blog, although my blog is rather insignificant for I have just started blogging just over a month ago. Thanks for your kind compliments. Let us together use our blogs to help Malaysians realize the grave situation that they are in, but who have chosen to ignore reality. Finally, let us try to swing the votes for the opposition as the future seems rather bleak under the rule of this very dictatorial, inefficient and discriminatory government. Keep up with the struggle for we may yet see better days ahead should we have a change of government.
Yours sincerely,
Alfred Ho.

Dear Anil,
I wish here to relate an incident to you for your amusement. Recently, tv 9 invited me to participate in a reality tv show to highlight the talents of the disabled community where some recordings have already been made for the programme through my participation. However, when the tv authorities visited my blog and found out that I am critical of the government, I was unceremoniously dropped from the show. When I brought this matter to the attention of Malaysiakini, their investigative reporter was told by the tv 9 authorities that the programme was only meant to highlight the talents of muslim handicapped people. It is quite obvious that I was dropped from the programme because of my political views, and not for the lame excuse which they gave to Malaysiakini. Unfortunately, Malaysiakini took their explanation for the gospel truth, and as such, has decided not to follow up with the matter. As we all know, all the tv stations in Malaysia are controlled and owned by the government and their cronies. I have come to the conclusion that the tv 9 management has dropped me from the show because of my dissenting views towards the government. This is certainly laughable, don't you think? Finally Anil, please share this email with your many readers, so that they can have a better understanding of this very dictatorial, discriminatory and inefficient government.
